Shimmer is a delightfully silly, playful and affectionate baby born 6/4/2018. Shimmer and her sister Shine are tiny Tortie twins who were 2 days old when we found them scared, hungry and alone, and stuck in a loading dock corner with no momma. That was 6-4-2018, and now, Shimmer and Shine are delightfully silly, playful and affectionate baby girls. Since they had no momma, they were raised by our bottle-baby volunteer, so they are now delightfully friendly, happy girls who come running when they see you because -- to them -- humans are their mommy! Shimmer and Shine are laugh-creatingly rambunctious when they play. Everything is a toy to these babies! The cat tree (they love to climb!), each other (they love to romp and roll over with each other!), your fingers, your hair, cardboard toilet paper rolls, and, oh yes, actual cat toys are fun too! : ) Then they take a break to come to you for affection and purrs -- hug-fest! They love to snuggle into your arms or neck while you sit for a cozy purring session, and then they are ready to leap to the floor and let the romping fun begin again! Watch their funny video! Shimmer and Shine have matching mirror-image faces -- you see orange on the left of Shine's face, and orange on the right side of Shimmer's face. Shimmer has one adorable orange paw (opposite side of her orange face, for a two-sided color splash) and she has a kink on her tail like the Big Dipper! Shine wears an softly elegant mostly black coat over her darling bright Tortie face. Both love to snuggle into your arms or neck while you sit for a cozy purring session, and then they are ready to leap to the floor and let the romping fun begin again! Shimmer and Shine have been perfectly healthy, and they both have excellent litter box manners. Shimmer and Shine love each other, and they are also very loving and confident girls, so they can be adopted together for a great pair you know will love each other, or they can be adopted separately and they will do great that way too. Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family. Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal. Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip. We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.
