Domestic Short Hair / Tabby (short coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Medium Contact Promise's Caretaker/Foster Directly: Gina (calicoangel128@gmail.com)
It was 8:00 on a cool winter’s eve when I got the distress call. “Gina, I just can’t keep this cat any longer. He’s getting too big and he needs more room to roam. Can you please help me? The caller was a woman who lived in her van with her two large dogs, her domestic cat, and a beautiful rambunctious orange and white tabby male rescue kitty which she named “Promise.” Promise was rescued at 12 weeks old, trapped at an unsavory feeding site. Promise was now seven months old and she sounded so desperate. I left immediately to go and pick him up. Promise’s future was now in my hands. When I got him home, I made him a promise. “I promise to love you and find you the best forever home I can”, I said. He was shy, but not aggressive or mean and I somehow just knew that lots of love, attention and patience would be the best prescription for him. With a steady diet of love, patience and security, I proved my prescription right. Promise (now 16 months old) has transformed into a gentle and loving companion. He has brought my family much joy and happiness and he’s ready now for his forever home. He has learned to trust and although a little shy still, is friendly and outgoing. Promise is extremely playful, sleeps in bed with you, loves other kitties and will surprise you with his desire for affection. If you can offer a calm, attentive and loving home to a wonderful and beautiful cat, please consider making your own promise to “Promise.” You will not regret it! For more information, please contact Gina at 805-312-4983 and help her keep her promise to Promise!
