Poppy is a little love. Her soft grey fur is like warm velvet with a circle pattern on both sides.
Poppy may be initially a little bit wary, but with quiet and calm voices and movements, she will come to you and show her true loving personality. Once she is accustomed to you, she will find her most comfortable spot on or near you and her purr will help put you to sleep. Or she will ride around on your shoulder.
New places and things capture her interest. A window sill is one of her favorite spots as it looks out over the back yard, the trees, birds, and other cats. She is a great jumper and an escape artist moving very quickly, which is why she is getting accustomed to a harness and leash. But she isn't fond of them.
Poppy loves catnip and becomes a fiery little warrior, dashing madly to and fro, until she collapses with a smile. Noisy feather toys and crinkly toys appeal to her. She plays well with others but wants to be the cat on top. She has had good interaction with my dogs and is not at all aggressive towards them.

Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family. Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal. Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip. We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.
