Adoption Requirements:
When you decide you are ready to meet the available cats and kittens, you will first want to submit an adoption application. Your application will be reviewed and once accepted, you will an email inviting you to attend an upcoming adoption event to meet the kitties.

Currently all adoption events are held at the Cats Cradle Rescue Adoption Center, 1964 E. Main Street in mid-town Ventura.  It is open from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays by appointment only.

Adoption Fee:
The adoption fee of $150.00 for kittens and $100.00 for adult cats partially covers the costs incurred for raising and readying your new kitty for adoption.  All kitties adopted are spayed or neutered (in accordance with State Law), receive all of their FVRCP vaccines, are tested for FIV & Feline Leukemia, receive an implanted microchip I.D. (including registration with AKC Reunite), and a collar with I.D. tag.

Why Choose to Adopt from CCR:
Since Cats Cradle kitties are raised and live in foster homes as part of the family, we are uniquely positioned to help match you with a kitty that will suit your lifestyle & family. Additionally we have decent insight into their personalities, in many cases knowing how the kitty(s) react to other cats, dogs, children, etc.

Often you can even speak with the cat's foster parent at the adoption, to get a sense firsthand, of how the cat will fit in with your family.
